UAE visas due to disrupted flights caused by volcanic eruption in Iceland

Visitors and tourists to the UAE who are stranded as a result of cancelled or delayed flights due to the Iceland volcano eruption will be issued 96 hour UAE visas at UAE airports - ask the passport control officer on arrival.

Travellers stranded in Dubai will not be fined for overstaying their Dubai tourist visas or Dubai visit visas. Unknown if the fine cancellations apply in Abu Dhabi and other emirates - check with the UAE visa office in the emirate in which your visa was issued.
