- Most, or all, post offices in Sharjah, Kalba, Khor Fakkan (and other locations in the UAE) are closed on Fridays and public holidays. Post office names in bold are those that may be open on Fridays and public holidays - check a Sharjah newspaper for holiday timings when one is announced. Opening timings given in this list apply Saturdays to Thursdays only.
- Sharjah Post Office opening hours are shorter during Ramadan - usually about 0900-1300 or 1600, and possibly evenings 2100-2300 or 2400 for the branches that are normally open late.
- Opening times in italics mean conflicting information was seen from Emirates Post. Telephone first for correct timings, and we'd appreciate it if you'd add a reply to the Emirates Post topic in the discussion forum.
- Collection of mail from PO Boxes should be available 24 hrs per day. Collection of large packets and registered mail depends on post office timings.
