Spinneys Dubai is a chain of supermarkets in Dubai popular with the western expat community (partly because they sell pork products), as well as other nationalities. Spinneys Group (different from the Spinneys Dubai company) operate grocery stores in other emirates as well as throughout the Middle East.

- 26 June 2012 - WAM reported that Spinneys and Dubai Properties Group (DPG) signed an MOU to develop a Spinneys Community Center at The Villa development. Allocated land area of 75,000 sq meters, located in the Ponderosa area. Completion date within 15 months of announcement date.
- *Planned Spinneys stores - Information from Spinneys Dubai CEO interview with Emirates Today published 14 September 2007. Appears to be some overlap with a few stores already opened eg Mirdiff Community Center, Emaar Residences, Ajman.
- A 06 March 2010 report in The National said that Spinneys had a plot in JLT for a store but did not have an opening date. Johannes Holtzhausen, the General Chain Manager, was quoted: "When will we open it? I really don't know. There are infrastructure problems, access problems, a number of reasons why we couldn't have opened yet."
General information about Spinneys grocery shops and supermarkets in Dubai
- Most Spinneys shops have opening hours from about 0800 to 2200. Some stores open earlier or later, and close later, including a 24 hrs Spinneys in Bur Dubai.
- Most Dubai Spinneys have a pork meat department, probably not in the Deira Spinneys though.
- Spinneys supermarket noticeboards are usually good places to advertise items for sale items such as cars, furniture, garage sales; services such as babysitting, tutoring in Dubai; or villa, apartment, flat shares and to rent.
- Some Spinneys branches (Spinneys Um Suqeim, Spinneys Trade Centre Road, Spinneys Ramada) have recycling depots where you can leave newspapers, plastic bags, plastic bottles, aluminium cans.
- Some Spinneys stores in Dubai have an A&E or MMI bottle shop next door eg Umm Suqeim Spinneys.
