Geant hypermarket stores in the UAE
- Géant is a French hypermarket chain, similar to Carrefour and Auchan, with a presence in the UAE.
- As of 2010 the only Geant Hypermarket in the UAE is at Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai but there are other stores operated by Geant in Dubai.
- Pork products not available in Geant stores in the UAE.

Géant Abu Dhabi
Geant Capital Mall Abu Dhabi
- First Geant Hypermarket in Abu Dhabi expected to open in the Capital Mall (also or previously known as the 9712 Mall) in Mohammed Bin Zayed City in early 2012. Area 7,200 square meters.
Géant Abu Dhabi Yas Island Mall
- Aldar Properties announced in a 17 May 2010 press release that a Géant Hypermarket would open in the Yas Mall on Yas Island.
- Opening date expected to be late 2012 (which might mean late 2013 or 2014 after usual construction delays).
- Geant hypermarket area of over 16,000 square meters with over 65,000 differnt products in stock.
- Product range will include butchery, cosmetics, delicatessen, electronic goods, fashion wear (well as much as you can call it fashion if buying from a supermarket), French bakery products, frozen foods, groceries, household items and accessories, jewellery, perfumes, rotisserie with ready to eat hot meals, shoes, seafood market, sporting goods, textiles, and more. Much the same as the Dubai Geant.
- A French café, Le Bistro, will be part of the store.
- Pork products probably won't be available - you'll have to visit a Geant in France for your sausages and salami.
Geant Al Ain
- There is, or was, a Geant Hypermarket planned for the new Wahat Hili Shopping Mall in Al Ain (opening late 2010 or early 2011?).
Geant Middle East and UAE expansion plans
- In September 2011, Geant said they planned to open 35 stores across the Middle East region from 2011-2014.
