Jones the Grocer (JTG?) is an Australian based luxury products supermarket and cafe with branches in New Zealand, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi. The first Joe Grocer shoppe opened in Sydney downunder in 1996. The Abu Dhabi Jones grocery opened in September 2009 (delayed from June 2009) as the first JTG store in the Middle East. Crikey mate! They didn't open one in Dubai first?

Bakery and pastry selection
Cafe - where he just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich ... if you're lucky.
Cheese - a walk-in cheese room, or fromagerie. Yum!
Charcuterie - no, we don't know what it is either but the press release (28 September 2009) said Jones had one. Reportedly a Halal charcuterie which means no pork.
Delicatessen - with lots of gourmet goodies
Organic food for babies and children
Other things the press release said which we didn't understand, were artisan, piece de résistance, synonymous, nurtured, artisan (again), luscious, barista (might be where them luscious sheilas hang out, mate).
"Decadent Christmas and special occasion hampers" - are press releases in the UAE allowed to say "decadent"?
