Sama Dubai TV is an Arabic TV channel in Dubai with a focus on the development of Dubai including programs for children, youth, women, entertainment, culture, news, sports, and more. It is one of several TV and radio stations in the UAE from Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI). "Sama" is Arabic for sky, or to reach for the sky. Sama Dubai satellite channel available on Arabsat, Badr 4, Hotbird 7A, Nilesat 101, Telstar 10 (not confirmed). Programs include
- Al Usra Al Asriya (The Modern Family) - about issues facing UAE, Gulf and Arab families in the modern day.
- Alnajihat (The Successful) - the life of working Emirati women.
- Dubai Almultaka or Al Multaka Dubai (Dubai Meeting) - what's happening in the city of Dubai
- Freej - the excellent 3D animated series about 4 old ladies living in Dubai, named Um Allawi, Um Saeed, Um Saloom, and Um Khammas. Program is in Arabic but DVDs have English subtitles.
