- The Gaea Times reported on 04 May 2010 that the Chancellor of VIT University (Vellore Institute of Technology), G Viswanathan, said they were planning to open a campus or office in Dubai shortly - "It was also told by the chancellor that VIT University will be soon coming up with their new centre in Dubai ..."
- Today News of India reported on 27 April 2010 that the Chancellor said a Dubai center was already in place - "Fulfilling the demands of international students, this year we have put out a centre in Dubai ..."
- Other centers apparently in Riyadh-Saudi Arabia and Singapore, or planned for those locations.
- Unknown which degrees, courses, or programs are available in Dubai.
