- Gulf News Express reported that Parents allege that The Philippine School is selling overpriced textbooks and notebooks. With examples of book charges being double what they cost in Manila, Philippines.
- TPS principal, Jocelyn Sollano, was quoted in the report as saying "The availability of new textbooks on school opening is a top priority for us and we brought the required number to cover all our students by air. We’re just sharing the burden with the parents."

KHDA and UAE Yellow Pages information is still tel +971-4-2544886 (old number?). Not clear if fax number +971-4-2544887 still valid (old number, KHDA information).

- The Philippine School in Dubai (TPS-Dubai) is a new Filipino curriculum school in Dubai, opening date 26 April 2008?
- Location is 205th St, Al Twar 3 (Al Tawar 3) (on the site of the old Zayed University campus - see location map?).
