Not to be confused with The Philippine School in Baniyas City, Abu Dhabi, although both schools are managed by The Philippine School Dubai?

  • Contact number mobile +971-50-6872128 (ADEC directory, is contact for TPS Dubai?). Landline not provided. Some sources give the old 21st Century Academy number, +971-2-4413077, but that seems to be disconnected (the Etisalat lady tells us to try again later). <yellow>
  • Location: Hadabat Al Zaafrana, Hadbat Al Zafran (Al Zafrana, Al Zafranah), Al Muroor. Same campus which was used by the 21st Century Academy.

  • Student numbers "more than 2,000" (reference news reports of Philippines Vice President Jejomar Binay visit to school in January 2016)?
06 January 2016
  • A report in The National quoted a statement from ADEC saying that parents who paid fees to the closed 21st Century Academy for 2015-2016 should not pay more fees to the new school which replaced it: "the money collected by the previous operator might not be redeemed and [the new operator] has accepted not to charge the parents [again] should they provide invoices that all the tuition fees have been collected."
  • Original ADEC statement not found or supplied. Statement from new school operator not found or supplied.
29 November 2015 review
  • The National reported that the new Philippines Ambassador in Abu Dhabi, Constancio Vingno Jr, would help parents recover lost tuition fees paid to 21st Century Academy before it closed. He was quoted as saying "I will try my best to help them, rest assured, I will not leave them hanging. I feel for them. I’m a parent, too." But then later in the report it sounded like he wouldn't be able to do much to help recover the fees; he said "The most that we could do is conciliation and this is what we are doing."
  • Parents have lost AED 2 million according to the report. Many had paid fees to the 21st Century Academy, and then had to pay fees again to the new school, since the old closed school was not refunding fees.
30 September 2015 review
  • TPGS replaces the Twenty-First Century Academy which closed after ADEC withdrew its licence in August 2015. TPGS is in the same location, new management (or owners, school head is still Ms Elizabeth Comia?).
  • New school opened Monday 14 September 2015.
  • New managing company reported to be The Philippine School in Dubai.

General comments - might not apply to The Philippine Global School
  • Many popular schools are full for 2017-2018. New schools in Abu Dhabi might have places.
  • Allow extra for books, extra-curricular activities, uniforms, trips, etc if not included in school fees.
