- Also called the "Abu Dhabi Special Care Centre", or "Special Care Centre of the Good Heart Foundation".
- Might also be called "Gulf Special Care Centre" but GSCC contact details according to Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce are the same as the Al Khaleej Autism Center, not SCC.
- No website for SCC? But some information available at www.good-heart.org (although most pages return message saying viewing is not authorised).
- SCC established under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak to provide education and support for physically and mentally challenged children.
- A "Donate a Brick" fundraising campaign is underway until 03 December 2009 to fund the construction of a new facility in Al Bahia. See www.donateabrick.org (new window) for more information.
- Student numbers according to a press release 08 June 2008 were 66 students of 14 different nationalities, with another 68 students on a waiting list.
