- Headmaster was Mr George Savage, and principal was Bob Malone (now at Al Yasmina School in Abu Dhabi).
- Foundation year fees increased from AED 12,390 to AED 19,000 for 2008-2009 according to report in The National. No fees information found on SES website.

- Sharjah English School is a highly regarded primary school.
- In September 2005 a secondary section (called Sharjah English College) opened on new premises. SES primary school moving to same premises during 2005/2006.
- Secondary school expecting to become K-12 for 2008 and offer A-Levels.
- SES is run as a non-profit charitable organisation.
- Website www.shensch.u-net.com (found on Google) appears to be very out of date - term dates are given for 1998/1999. Presumably it has been neglected in favor of new website.
- Old contact details are tel +971-6-5672779 and fax +971-6-5662921.
- Mostly British students and staff.
- Unrelated to Sharjah British School (SBS) in the nearby Muweilah schools area.
