  • Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) is a large (the largest?) center in the UAE for children who are mentally or physically disabled.
  • SCHS accepts Arab nationalities (or at least Arabic speakers?).
  • SCHS will care for children and adults from age 0-25 years. Those with severe cases of epilepsy might not be accepted.
  • The center was originally founded as part of the Arab Family Organization in the Gulf region but since 1995 has operated under the Family Supreme Council in Sharjah.
