- Sharjah American International School (SAIS) has a branch in Dubai (SAISD?), opened September 2005? KHDA website says licensed November 2005.
- SAIS is not related to the new American Community School in Sharjah, under construction by Evolvence Capital.
- Website also available at www.saisuae.com
- Contact details from KHDA website, telephone also +971-4-2800666
- Fees information from KHDA website (out of date) which says 16% fees increase permitted for 2008-2009. Sharjah campus fees information not found.
- KHDA website says SAIS is non-profit and profit-making. Have assumed profit-making.

- School details unknown, school name seen on map of Al Aweer area. There is a Sharjah American International School but it's in a different location (in Sharjah).
- Tel number for SAS should be something like +971-4-28xxxxx if map seen was correct.
- There are references to Sharjah American School in news articles seen (unless they're referring to SAIS).
