- School of Modern Skills (or Modern Skills School) is an Arabic curriculum school with an English section.
- Fees information for 2007 - 2008 according to Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) information. Add AED 1000-2200 for books and AED 350-600 for uniform fees.
- Facilities include separate cafeterias for boys and girls, theatre, two heated pools, libray and technology center, sports hall, playground areas, free medical care at the Al Sultan medical centre.
- Principal is Wasfeia Al Shaikh according to SMS website but KHDA information is Lisa Al Saedi.
- Khaleej Times report 26 August 2006 said the Foreign Schools Department, UAE Ministry of Education, and the Dubai Educational Zone (predecessor to the KHDA) refused to approve a school brochure that had a large number of grammatical and spelling mistakes. The authorities also did not approve the attempted appointment of two different candidates for the position of principal.
