- Dubai Juveniles Court handed out a verdict to the student who tried to blow up the school - he was reprimanded for posing a risk to lives and damaging school property, and handed over to the care of his parents (The National).
- School website no longer available at www.irs-uae.com/salman/ (is now spam). New website domain at salman.uaeirschools.com. See also www.uae-irs.com.

- A 15 year old student at Salman Farsi School set off a home made bomb at the school, damaging a wall and roof of a classroom where the bomb was left. No injuries were reported.
