- Safa School moving to new location (larger campus) on Meydan St (Al Hadiqi St or Al Hadiqa Rd) for September 2012 (see new location map). New facilities will include auditorium, gymnasium, swimming pool (25m, temperature controlled), football pitch (astroturf), library, science labs, computer rooms etc.

- Fees updated - school website says AED 17,250-25,500 for 2007-2008 but KHDA information is that a 16% increase was approved for 2008-2009 (a 20% increase was applied for), so above figure is an estimate based on increase being implemented.
- Might not be correct though - school website might have a typo, and KHDA says 2007-2008 fees were 15,000-22,500 but that's probably out of date.

- Also referred to as "Al Safa Private School", "Al Safa School", or "Al Safa Pvt School".
- Safa School is a sister school to the Horizon primary school, Safa School opened in September 2004 on the old Horizon School premises.
- Both Safa and Horizon schools have a generally good reputation although, as with most schools, there's always a few negative comments floating around. Possibly connected with them being "for-profit" institutions.
- Fees for 2005-2006 are AED 15,000-22,500 per year, possibly up to 18,000-27,000 for 2006-2007.
- Safa School seemed to get caught up in some trouble with the Horizon School and the Dubai Education Zone (DEZ) in April 2005 with registration and ownership issues. See forum topic for discussion.
- Another email given as shschool@safahorizon.ae. Domain www.safahorizon.ae has no website, www.safaschool.com appears in search results but has no website and the domain appears to have nothing to do with Safa School in Dubai.

General Comments - might not apply to Safa School
- Many popular schools are full for 2013-2014. New schools in Dubai might have places.
- Allow extra for books, extra-curricular activities, uniforms, trips, etc if not included in school fees.
