- New president of RIT Dubai campus will be Yousef Al Assaf from 01 Feb 2013. Previously he was dean of the college of engineering at the American University of Sharjah. Previous president was Dr Mustafa Abushagur.

- Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) plans to introduce undergraduate degree programs in Business, Computing, Engineering from September 2010 (press release 26 October 2009).

- RIT Dubai is one of the offspring of Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, USA.
- The Dubai RIT branch will offer part-time study programs in the evenings and weekends so you can still work, but give up your social life.
- RIT say they will offer the same accredited degrees as the Rochester Institute of Technology in the USA.

- Masters degree programs from September 2008. Undergraduate programs offered from September 2010.
- Master's courses include Finance, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Service Management, Network and Systems Administration
- Students might have the opportunity to do part of their studies at the RIT campus in Rochester, New York.
- RIT also have affiliations and programs in many other countries including Australia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Turks & Caicos, United Kingdom.
