RAK American School (RAKAS?) opened in November 2008 with K-5 classes offered, and looks likely to expand from there up to grade 12 eventually, since they say they'll offer International Baccalaureate (IB).
Fees are discounted by 25% if paid all upfront, and only for 2008-2009. Add 15,000 dirhams for registration, books, ICT fees, and other resources. Transport, uniforms, and specialised course fees are not included.
Khoie Education is a subsidiary of the Khoie Group. CEO of Khoie Education is Dan Young who was previously the head of Dubai American Academy, a GEMS school.
