    • Odd that tuition fees for grades 10-11 are cheaper than grades 7-9, but that's what fee schedule supplied by RIS says (20 March 2010).
  • 2008-2009 fees for grade 10 were reported as AED 50,500 in The National 06 April 2009. Unclear what the correct figure is.

21 February 2010
  • Raha International School has been awarded IB accreditation for their MYP Program (for students aged 11-16 years) according to a Taaleem press release: "Raha International School, a Taaleem school, has become the first and only school in Abu Dhabi to be accredited with the Middle Years Program (MYP) International Baccalaureate Authorisation."
  • Other schools offering the IBMYP in Abu Dhabi include the Abu Dhabi Australian School, Emirates National School, GEMS World School Abu Dhabi.
07 April 2009 review
  • Raha International School has been awarded IB World accreditation for the IB Diploma program according to news on the Taaleem website: "Taaleem is proud to announce that Raha International School in Abu Dhabi and Uptown High School in Dubai have both received IB World accreditation for their Diploma Programmes."
06 April 2009 - Raha school fees increase
  • Raha International School (RIS) expanding to grade 11 for September 2009. Fees information updated. Website www.ris.ae forwards to www.taaleem.ae.
  • Fees expected to increase from AED 50,500 for grade 10 students in academic year 2008-2009 to AED 62,000, an increase of 23%. Fees for the new grade 11 could be AED 72,000 for academic year 2009-2010.
  • A report in The National 06 April 2009 claimed that fees were increasing up to 43% by comparing different grades, somewhat misrepresenting what Taleem were proposing - Parents are threatening to take their children out of one of the capital's schools after being faced with fee increases of up to 43 per cent in the next academic year.
  • The threat of parents removing children appeared to be based on a comment from one mother who apparently had time to survey all the parents of children at RIS ... "Everybody is going to consider taking their children out,"
  • In the same report, Taaleem was quoted as saying "A total of Dh125m has been invested in the school to date and at least for the next two years it will be subject to operating losses,"
05 November 2007 review
  • Information received from Raha International School (RIS) said: "We do not have the British or American Curriculum. We are an International Baccalaureate candidate school using the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) leading to the Diploma Programme (DP) in September 2010."
14 September 2007 review
  • Classes KG to Grade 9 for 2007 academic year. Expanding to grade 10 in September 2008. School capacity about 1300 students from KG to Grade 12 when complete.
  • Facilities include outdoor full size swimming pool, gym, library, play areas, playing field, and specialist classrooms for music, art, science, design.
  • Phase II of school expected to open in September 2008 with more facilities including gym, theatre, art, dance and fitness studios, student centre, and full size playing field.
  • RIS is not the same as or related to Al Raha Gardens School (opening 2008).
