- Grade 10 fees for 2008-2009 were reported as being AED 50,500 in The National 06 April 2009. Unclear what the correct figure was.

06 April 2009 - Raha school fees increase
- Raha International School (RIS) expanding to grade 11 for September 2009.
- Fees information updated (was AED 28,000-42,000 for 2007-2008), add application fee AED 500 and registration deposit AED 2000. Also allow extra for uniforms, activities, food, transport (AED 5,000 per year - buses provided by Seven Stars Transport Company).
- Fees expected to increase from AED 50,500 for grade 10 students in academic year 2008-2009 to AED 62,000, an increase of 23%. Fees for the new grade 11 could be AED 72,000 for academic year 2009-2010.
- A report in The National 06 April 2009 claimed that fees were increasing up to 43% by comparing different grades, somewhat misrepresenting what Taleem were proposing - Parents are threatening to take their children out of one of the capital's schools after being faced with fee increases of up to 43 per cent in the next academic year.
- The threat of parents removing children appeared to be based on a comment from one mother who apparently had time to survey all the parents of children at RIS ... "Everybody is going to consider taking their children out,"
- In the same report, Taaleem was quoted as saying "A total of Dh125m has been invested in the school to date and at least for the next two years it will be subject to operating losses,"
- Website www.ris.ae forwards to www.taaleem.ae
