- See University of Pune RAK information for list of degree programs offered. MBA courses starting in April 2009 (in Ras Al Khaima), MSc, BSc, BE and other courses expected to start in September 2009 (in RAK).

- Edulink also establised Middlesex University in Dubai in 2005
- A report in the Sakaal Times 08 February 2009 said that University of Pune (UoP) had applied to set up a campus in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) but moved to Ras Al Khaimah due to various reported problems with obtaining a licence from DIAC who apparently thought there were already too many Indian universities at DIAC. Sakaal also reported that there was objection by the University Grants Commission (UGC) about setting up the Dubai UoP campus.

- Fees, facilities, education quality varies widely. Allow extra fees for visa, transport, accommodation.
- Salaries, accommodation, other benefits for lecturer jobs vary substantially. Check contracts carefully for medical, housing, flight allowances, etc.
