- Gulf News reported on 08 September 2006 that 16 students had IGCSE Biology grades amended in 2006 by the University of Cambridge International Examinations Malpractice Committee after they allegedly found evidence of students answers being altered. On 19 September 2006 GN reported that the examinations officer was dismissed as a result of an investigation into the exam malpractice. See discussion topic for more information.
