  • Nibras International School fees updated based on NIS website. Fees for 2008-2009 were AED 18,000-39,000?

  • There was a dispute reported over NIS teachers' contract length. Teachers thought they signed up for one year, Nibras International School management says they signed up for 3 years. NIS teachers were penalised as a result. See Nibras salary dispute in forum for more details.

  • Head's name changed from Mr Mike Prime to Mr Gustav Gröpp / Mr Gustav Gropp (from South Africa)
  • Staff breakdown - 36 teachers, 7 Teachers Assistants, 12 Administration, 18 Service workers (figure above is for teaching staff only)
  • Email changed from info@alnibrasschool.com to info@nisdubai.ae.
  • Old website at www.alnibrassschool.com expired 10 May 2008? Appears to be just spam now.
  • Fees updated from 15,600-33,900 to 18,000-39,000 (for 2008-2009 academic year according to NIS website)
  • Presumably NIS is not related to the Al Nibras Special Needs School in Kuwait.

  • Previously known as Al Nibras Private School but name changed in February 2006. Also called Al Nebras School?
  • Multinational students and staff.
  • Fees information for 2005-2006, may be increased for 2006-2007.
  • Email still to old domain. Registrar email is registrar@alnibrasschool.com. Another email (to new domain) given as registrar@nisdubai.ae (for teaching positions).
