NIMS Abu Dhabi has been given permission by ADEC to add 485 places for the 2012-2013 academic year, in Grade 1-12 classes, increasing total student number from 4,236 to 4,735 (Gulf News).

The New Indian Model School in Musaffah has been granted permission by the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) to add 150 more students for the 2010-2011 academic year ... but they've already been filled and there's a waiting list of 1000+ pupils apparently (reported in The National 19 March 2010).

Headmaster of the kindergarten section is Ilyas Nissari.
There were reports that Aiman Zeeshan / Zeeshanuddin, a 4 1/2 year student at the Mussafah Indian Model School, died after being left locked in a school bus. The bus driver was taken into custody by the Abu Dhabi police and an investigation was launched by the Abu Dhabi Education Zone (ADEZ). Merryland Kindergarten was fined 5000 dhs after a similar incident in April 2008.

NIMS Mussaffah / Musafah / Mussafah the same school as "The Model School" or "Model Private School" in Abu Dhabi (same PO Box for all three names)? Also called The Model High School, The Model Boys School, The Model Girls School?

Tuition fees quoted on site are 175-250 dhs, assumed to be per month for 10 months per year.

Many popular schools are full for 2013-2014. New schools in Abu Dhabi might have places.
Allow extra for books, extra-curricular activities, uniforms, trips, etc if not included in school fees.
Estimate monthly teaching salary by dividing annual school fees by 3, or 2 for primary schools. Deduct 25% for profit-making schools.
