- The New Filipino Private School in Sharjah appears to be still open, sort of. A Khaleej Times report 03 September 2009 said the school was ordered to close by the Minister of Education, Humaid Al Qatami / Qattami, for a week at the beginning of September due to H1N1 swine flu virus fears. Apparently 200 students (or 120 in another report) had flu-like symptons, and at least one was tested for H1N1 (but result was apparently negative). Then the school principal decided to stay closed until after the Eid Al Fitr break (23 September 2009) but said "The school has no swine flu case."
- Head's name updated (also seen written as Luzvimin Da Corbuz). Previous information was Aghsan Mousa (vice-president).
- Website for NFPS Parent Teacher Council at www.geocities.com/ptcsy0102ofnfps/, not clear how up to date it is (appears to be from 2001-2002).
- PO Box 3695 updated? PO Box 6234 appears to be more recent?

- The New Filipino Private School (NFPS) was operating out of a villa in Sharjah, and in May 2007 was reported to be closing as a result of Ministry of Education directives. If NFPS is closed, then contact numbers won't work.
- Might also be referred to as New Filipino Pvt School, New Filipino School in Sharjah, Filipino Private School in Sharjah, Philippines Private School, etc.
- PO Box 6234 also seen in some sources.
- DECS permit issued 15 October 1996.
