- The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) of India was seen referred to has having operations in the UAE in an Emirates Business 24-7 report about the London College of Fashion courses in Dubai - But despite the presence of such international names as French university Esmod and India's National Institute of Fashion Technology in the UAE, ...
- However, no further inforrmation found except for a comment (in 2008?) that NIFT India was considering opening a branch campus in the UAE, possibly in Dubai, in addition to opening overseas centers in Malaysia and Singapore.
- At present, the only international center of NIFT listed on the NIFT website is in Mauritius.
