17 November 2013 review
According to some maps and sources there is a Modern Renaissance School renaissance or revival in Dubai, in different locations:
Al Twar 2 ... but the marked site is somebody's villa. Although in November 2013 there is some construction going on there (section of road between internal roads 12 and 18 is closed). No further information found or supplied from any official source though, and unknown how the location ended up marked as being for MRS or any other school. Contact details at that location given as +971-4-2630094 but not clear where that came from, number not found in UAE Yellow Pages or any other school directory.
Jumeirah Lake Towers (Jumeirah Lakes Towers, JLT) ... with tel number +971-4-2641818 which doesn't make sense for a JLT location, although they got the postal address almost correct with PO Box 1522 - should be Dubai, not Emirates Hills. And the number is correct for MRS in Muhaisinah but it closed in June 2006, the same number now belongs to Al Hesn School in the same place. Location marked in JLT appears to be an empty plot for a business or tower, not a school. DMCC (the JLT Free Zone regulatory authority) information says the plot or plots (1A and 1B) are zoned for industrial use, and are for Al Ghaith Gold DMCC, which currently has a foundry or refinery in Al Quoz Industrial Area with plans to relocate the refinery. Unknown how MRS ended up on a map there, looks like an error.
