- Presumably the Modern Pakistan School is no more as the Abu Dhabi Australian School was established in September 2006.

- The Gulf News reported that the Modern Pakistani School was being renamed as the Australian School of Abu Dhabi and changing to an Australian curriculum for 2006-2007.
- Teachers and students were given notice.
- The management said they had applied to run two curriculums but the Ministry of Education turned down their request.
