- Mirdif Private School (MPS) moved to new location in Al Mizhar 1 September 2009?
- MPS classes from KG1, KG2 to Grade 9.
- New premises have capacity for 1000 students in 35 classrooms in 2 buildings - kindergarten and elementary / intermediate building.
- Facilities include art studio, basketball court, computer labs, conference room, football field, gymnasium, library, music room, remedial reading room, resource center, science labs, swimming pool, indoor volleyball court, theatre.

- A Khaleej Times report 12 September 2005 highlighted Mirdif Private School as one in which the principal and founder, Randah Osama Gandour, was also a licence partner, which is not allowed according to the report.
