  • Merryland International School website appears to be available at www.merrylandinternational.net, although with only a bit of background information so far. Oddly it says it's for the Merryland International School of Dubai even though the school is in Musaffa in Abu Dhabi.

  • Merryland International School (MIS?) (not Maryland/Mary Land/Merry Land?) is apparently a new school under construction in the Mussafah area of Abu Dhabi, as one of the Sherwood Group of schools, founded by Mrs Susheela George.
  • MIS will possibly take over from the Sherwood school and the Merryland kindergarten in Abu Dhabi, which are reportedly closing by 2013 according to a Gulf News report 30 January 2010: "Sherwood Academy and Merryland Kindergarten, following the Indian curricula, are due to close by 2013,"
  • Website might also be at www.merrylandinternational.net (not www.merrylandinternational.com which appears to be for an unrelated home accessories company).
  • No information found on Merryland website, just a placeholder for an international school section.

  • Many popular schools are full for 2012-2013. New schools in Abu Dhabi might have places.
  • Allow extra for books, extra-curricular activities, uniforms, trips, etc if not included in school fees.
