- The Manhatten Film Academy, New York, has run film production workshops in Dubai since January 2005 with the support of Emirates Center for Management & Information Technology (ECMIT).
- From January 2008 MFA will run a 4 month filmmaking course in Dubai Knowledge Village (see forum topic for details) with the support of Dubai Studio City.
- Students will learn about cinematography, development, film directing, film editing, film production from American & European filmmakers.
- MFA programs are based on curriculums from NYU, Columbia University, American Film Institute, and Brooklyn College in the USA, and the Lodz Film School of Poland (where Roman Polanski attended).
- Fees from AED 2,000 - 17,000 (or more) per course or package. Allow AED 50,000+ if you do everything.
