- AFLEC Meydan is a new school opening in September 2013. Not clear from information supplied if it is a relocation of this school, or an additional AFLEC school.

- The Lycee Francais International (or AFLEC Dubai) has most classes in French, but English and Arabic also studied with students expected to become trilingual.
- Lacking in facilities but worth considering if you want children educated in French.
- Email may not be correct, possibly try this one - ifidir@emirates.net.ae.
- AFLEC Dubai location is near the Al Nasr Leisureland and Club.
- Umbrella organisation (AFLEC - Association Franco Libanaise pour l'Education et la Culture) website is at www.gee-aflec.org but looks like it's out of date (information from 2003-2004).
- Largest nationality represented is French, and Lebanese, Egyptian and Canadian nationals are also well represented.
- There is also an AFLEC school in Abu Dhabi - the Lycee Theodore Monod.
- Establishment date not confirmed.
- According to June 2003 press release, headmaster when school was established was Bleuzet Ludovic, and school intends to expand into higher level classes in the future.
