18 January 2014

Press release announced Lady Bird Early Learning Center JV Circle branch would be the first LEED Gold certified ELC in Dubai, and would accept children from 4 mths to 5 years old (previous information was 12 mths to 6 yrs). But did not say where in JV Circle it would be or when it would open.

The US Green Building Council directory has a LEED certification listing for a "Jumeirah Islands Nursery School" from 2007, but no further information except a location in Grosvenor House JLT, or Deira (long way from Jumeirah Islands), or Dammam in Saudi Arabia (even further); and postal address for Taaleem Education Group in Dubai. Taleem opened the British Foundation Preschool or Kindergarten in Jumeirah Islands in September 2014, but without LEED certification. So the announcement is probably correct.

New ELC project cost US$10 million (about AED 35-40m). Tuition fees for new center not supplied.

20 December 2014

Ladybird Nursery Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) branch planned. Opening date not supplied but 2015 entered to include branch in list of new nurseries in Dubai. Construction started in 2014?

Children aged 12 months to 6 years old accepted? [Check, normally nurseries in the UAE only accept up to 4 years old.]

Email address no longer valid, try for enquiries.

Other Ladybird Nursery branches in Al Manara (Umm Suqeim branch) and Al Safa (Jumeirah Branch).
