Location along Umm Suqeim Rd, Al Barsha South, opposite Dubiotech. Plot number 6310103. Between Al Khail Rd and Mohammed Bin Zayed Rd (MBZ Rd). Although location given as Al Barsha (South), the side of Umm Suqeim Rd it's on is probably part of Dubailand or MBR City.
Important: See the KSAB website for a detailed map of access route (or map link below). You can't turn left at the traffic lights at the school if coming from Mall of the Emirates direction while access blocked by the RTA, and don't try to do a U-turn at the Arabian Ranches motorway interchange (you'll end up going to Abu Dhabi or Sharjah). Either do a U-turn at Dubai Motorcity traffic lights, or a U-turn at the Arabian Ranches entrance roundabout on Al Qudra (Umm Suqeim) Road after the AR Interchange. Traffic route map:

Website for Al Barsha campus at www.kingsdubai.com/Kings-School-Al-Barsha.
Tel number given in some directories as +971-4-348 3939 is for Kings School in Umm Suqeim (original campus), not the new Al Barsha campus.
2015-2016 registrations closed for FS1, FS2, Year 1 (but some places might be available at Kings Nad Al Sheba branch), open for Years 2-10.
2014-2015 admissions closed for FS1-FS2, Year 3-4 (classes full); open for Years 1-2 and 5-9.
KSAB accepts applications from children with dyslexia (2014-2015 enrolment information) but no other special needs children accepted, or no information provided about other special needs conditions which might be considered.
Kings Al Barsha is not an IB school (a previous report indicated it was) however it does take some input from the IB program; they say about their KS3 secondary curriculum: "We deliver the English National Curriculum for Key Stage 3, enriched with best practices from other sources such as IB (International Baccalaureate) and RSA (Royal Society for the Arts)."
16 September 2014:
KSAB opened on schedule (sort of) for classes from FS1 to Year 9.
Founding Head Teacher is Bill Turner, started Sep 2012, previously at GEMS World Academy in Dubai as Secondary or High School Principal from 2009-2012.
08 September 2014:
According to a report in Emirates 24-7 on 03 Sep 2014, Kings' Al Barsha opened September 2014 as planned. However it doesn't look very open, or even very finished. According to Kings, their opening date will be 16 September 2014.
The report also said the new Kings schools would offer UK and IB programs. Information provided to us does not mention any IB curriculums being followed by any of the Kings schools in Dubai. Kings School not found in the IBO school directory as an existing or planned IB school.
Capacity figure reported as increased to 1,800 (not confirmed by KSAB).
10 April 2014 review
Construction progress, or lack of it, means a September 2014 opening date seems optimistic. The site has a fence, a couple of cranes, and not much else as far as we could tell. Maybe it will be an underground school. The new Kings School at Nad Al Sheba looks as though it is further ahead on the construction timeline.
25 March 2014 review
Kings' School (not King's School) in Al Barsha is a new school with opening date planned for Sep 2014, accepting children for Foundation Stage classes (FS1 and FS2) to Year 9. Future secondary school expansion to Year 13 expected by 2016. Another King's School in Nad Al Sheba will also open Sep 2014.
According to KHDA information Mar 2014, school name is Kings Nad Al Barsha (which sounds peculiar, KHDA and Kings Dubai have not clarified if it's a typo or the official name), with capacity of 1,700 students.

General comments - might not apply to Kings School Al Barsha
- Many popular schools are full for 2017-2018. New schools in Dubai might have places.
- Allow extra for books, extra-curricular activities, uniforms, trips, etc if not included in school fees.
