- A new Kids Academy nursery in Khalifa City opened (the first KA nursery in the UAE) according to a press release from Kids Academy Childcare UAE.
- Which is different from another Kids Academy nursery opening in Abu Dhabi in 2012 according to information supplied. Location and more precise date for second nursery not given.

- Kids Academy Day Nursery and Preschools (UK) announced an agreement with Faraj Bin Hamoodah Holding in the UAE to establish Kids Academy nurseries in Abu Dhabi, with the first nursery expected to open in January 2012 in Abu Dhabi city.
- KA website also lists a Kids Academy in Dubai (and Qatar) as possible future locations.
- The KA nurseries franchise in the UAE appears to be unrelated to the Kids Academy UAE that operates at the Dubai International School Nadd Al Sheba location.
