  • Jumeirah College was one of 4 "Outstanding" schools according to the KHDA inspections for 2008-2009, but has reportedly lost that rating for 2009-2010 due to unsatisfactory Arabic and Islamic Studies departments (The National, 27 October 2009), however, the report was unsourced and not confirmed. There was also a comment on the Kings School Dubai website that Mr Peter Carpenter of the DSIB says that so far, the KHDA have not said "that any school will lose its outstanding ranking". No comment seen on JC website.
