  • Jebel Ali Primary School (JAPS) tuition fees information updated (was AED 30,855 for 2008-2009).
  • Additional fees are AED 2000 registration fee (of which 1750 dhs credited to first term fee). medical exam fee AED 150, bus fee AED 1000 per term.
  • Additional contact details for JAPS infant section are tel +971-4-8846366 and fax +971 4 8846368.

  • Headteacher is Mr Jonathan Price.
  • Previous head teacher was Maureen Chapman from 2003-2008 (or resigned February 2007)? Or is/was she headteacher of the Key Stage 1 section?
  • Fees information updated (was 27,000 dhs per year for 2007-2008).
  • Registration fee 2000 dhs (1750 dhs credited to first term fees). Bus transport 1000 dhs per term.
  • New school premises construction scheduled to start end of September 2008, and phase 1 (out of 3) expected to be complete by September 2009, for students in KS1 and KS2 (Years 3-9).
  • JAPS expanding into secondary school level - see Jebel Ali Secondary School information.

  • Redevelopment of Jebel Ali Village (by Nakheel) will mean Jebel Ali Primary School (JAPS) gets a new school in a new location. This could take a couple of years though.
  • Fees information updated. Registration fees add 2000 dhs. Bus transport fees add 1000 dhs per term.
  • Alternative email may be jaschool@emirates.net.ae.
  • JAPS has an excellent reputation, both for students and as a place for teachers to work.
