- The Japanese School in Abu Dhabi website has English pdf download with some background information.
- Some sources give telephone +971-2-448104 and fax +971-2-448526 but they appear to be incorrect. JSAD website says phone +971-2-444 6104 and fax +971-2-444 6526.
- JSAD operates grades 1-9 only.
- Principal/Headmaster is Mr Yamaura according to some sources? Unconfirmed.

- Japanese School in Abu Dhabi (JSAD) website in Japanese only.
- School is affiliated with Embassy of Japan in the UAE.
- There is also a Japanese school in Dubai.
- Since 2005, Emirati children have been enrolled in the kindergarten section to encourage cultural exchanges.
