The Indian International School Dubai (name changed?) was officially opened on Monday 16 January 2012. The opening ceremony included fireworks (of course - this is Dubai).
Facilities include indoor sports complex, a semi-Olympic-sized (whatever that means) swimming pool, wirelss computer network.
The honorary chairman of the Indian High School (IHS) Board, Mohan Valrani, reportedly said they plan to open 4 new schools by 2020 with total IHS school group capacity for 25,000 students. Current IHS school group capacity is 13,000 students.

Admissions and enrolment to the International Indian School in DSO start today for KG1 and KG2 students who will begin in April 2011.

Foundation stone laid on Monday 15 March 2010 (or Tuesday 16 March 2010?) for construction of a new Dubai Indian High School campus in Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), as part of the Indian High School in Dubai group (IHS).
Plot number 27-002, contractor is Roshan Construction LLC Dubai, consultants are Chawla Dubai (unconfirmed). Construction cost estimated as AED 100 million.
The new Indian International High School (IIHS) of Dubai is scheduled for opening in January 2011 or April 2011 (conflicting reports seen but April makes more sense as it is the start of the academic year for Indian curriculum schools in the UAE).
Tuition fees information not supplied but the already existing IHS in Dubai charged AED
3,300-6,240 for academic year 2008-2009.
Student capacity of 3000 pupils planned.
Classes to operate from KG1 to Grade 8.

Mr Ashok Kumar, CEO of the Indian High School, was reported in The National 17 March 2010 as saying they might open a new Indian school in Abu Dhabi - "Mr Kumar said the organisation would consider opening a school in the capital"
Mohan Valrani is the honorary chairman of the board of trustees of the Indian High School. Mr Valrani is also senior vice-chairman and managing director of the Al Shirawi Group of Companies.
Khaleej Times reported that the new IHS in Dubai was considering the introduction of the new International CBSE (ICBSE or CBSEI?) curriculum.
