- Indira Gandhi National Open University Dubai Center closed? A Gulf News report said all Sudhir Gopi institutes in the UAE had closed, with Dubai Police reportedly specifically naming IGNOU Dubai as one of them. However, it might be a reference to UEIT in Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV) (which appears to be closed anyway), although UEIT is, or was, in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC)? Or in both DKV and DIAC?
- As far as we know, the other training institutes in Dubai and UAE that offer IGNOU courses, are still operating.

- Fees, facilities, education quality varies widely. Allow extra fees for visa, transport, accommodation.
- Salaries, accommodation, other benefits for lecturer jobs vary substantially. Check contracts carefully for medical, housing, flight allowances, etc.
