A report in The National 17 March 2010 about the new Indian High School in Dubai said that an Abu Dhabi Indian High School might be on the cards according to Mr Ashok Kumar, CEO of the Indian High School (IHS Dubai) - "After learning of the shortage of school places in Indian schools in Abu Dhabi, Mr Kumar said the organisation would consider opening a school in the capital."
IHS Abu Dhabi would be presumably unrelated to the already existing Abu Dhabi Indian School.
A report in the Gulf News 08 April 2010 said The Indian High School, Dubai having the experience of running a non-profit school with 10,000 pupils is ready to set up a school in Abu Dhabi in cooperation with the Indian business community in the emirate, provided ADEC facilitates the official formalities, Valrani said (referring to the IHS Dubai chairman, Mohan Valrani).
