- A Khaleej Times report 30 May 2010 about graduating students from RKM said that some new programs were being proposed. Unclear whether they were for RKM, RKW, or both. Proposed degrees included Master's in Education, and in Information Technology, Bachelor's in Mechatronics, and in Applied Media Studies, and an Executive MBA.
07 September 2009
- Sheikh Mohammed, the Ruler of Dubai, visited the RAK colleges resulting in a new campus announcement for the boys. WAM reported that "Shaikh Mohammad ordered the construction of a new building for the students of the college. He also directed the Emirates real Estate Corp. to start constructing the project and to deliver it as soon as possible." But that might have been referring to RAK women's college.
