- A new HCT women's college campus opened in Khalifa City A / Madinat Khalifa / Khalifa Bin Zayed City (KCW? KCWC?) (announced by WAM 25 August 2009). Presumably this is the same Khalifa City campus that was scheduled to be opened in 2007 and 2008.
- KBZ City women's college is the 17th HCT in the UAE.
- Location is Khalifa City A
- KCW campus is on 38,500 square metres with a built-up area of 4000 sq m which will apparently have 88 auditoriums and laboratories but no classrooms according to the WAM report (however the Abu Dhabi Women's College website says they will have classrooms).
- Other facilities will include the usual LRC and ILC (library and learning resource center), and recreational and sports facilities.
- No separate website found for KC college, maybe because it's an annex or extension of Abu Dhabi Women's College (ADW / ADWC)?
- HCT refers to the UAE Higher Colleges of Technology, a tertiary vocational group of colleges with male and female campuses throughout the the UAE.
