- GCS opening Grade 9 for September 2009

- Greenfields Community School (GCS) under construction and expecting to open 26 September 2007. Will be one of the Beacon schools.
- GCS will offer classes from KG to Grade 6 initially, progressing gradually to Grade 12.
- Greenfield IB PYP program candidacy confirmed in August 2007.

- GCS expects to have about 1400 students eventually, with 50 different nationalities represented.
- School fees AED 32,000-38,400 as of September 2007, applies up to Grade 6. Non-refundable application fee of 500 dhs. Deposit of 2000 dhs.
