- New head from August 2009 is Dirk Böckmann (principal since August 2009). Previously was Dieter Stanik (Schulleiter).
- Executive body/owner Schulverein Deutsche Schule Sharjah. Previously BLASchA
- Location Cultural Square, behind Sharjah TV station. Previously Cultural Square, near Fine Fair complex.
- School fees 17,500-33000 dhs per year (2010-2011). Previously 16,000-28,000 (2008-2009).
- Teacher salary range 10,000-15,000.
- Kindergarten section also available.

- The Sharjah German School might move to somewhere near Sharjah University City one day (DSS has been given a plot of land there).
