- Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani Dubai (BITS Pilani Dubai) - tertiary level institute offering degree programs. Bought out (or will be) by BITS Pilani India according to 21 Sep 2012 news reports.

- News reports (India Times?) said that BITS Pilani was planning to buy out ETA Star Group's stake in BITS Pilani Dubai for Rs 100 crore.

- ETA Star Education contact details updated. Previous telephone +971-4-2884644 and fax +971-4-2884744 were for SIS in Mirdif.

- Email received from Star Education Management Systems (SEMS) says that the Barsha, Ghusais, and Mizhar schools are not planned.
- The Mirdiff Star School website says SEMS have additional land in Mirdiff, a plot in Dubai Industrial City, and one in Ras Al Khaimah for future schools.

ETA-Star Group is the parent company of ETA Star Education Management Systems (SEMS), which is planning to open several UK curriculum schools in the UAE (although they have one Indian curriculum school in Sharjah).

General Comments - might not apply to ETA Star Education
- Many popular schools are full for 2013-2014. New schools in Dubai might have places.
- Allow extra for books, extra-curricular activities, uniforms, trips, etc if not included in school fees.
