- Emirates Flying School (EFS) (not Emirates Flight Academy) courses are approved by the UAE GCAA and students receive a licence valid in the UAE on successful completion.
- UAE licenses can be converted to licences of other International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) member countries.
