- Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE) offers teaching and education qualifications to Emirati national students on a 100% tuition-free scholarship basis, including books and a free laptop. Monthly stipend also provided, and free accommodation for students not living in Abu Dhabi.
- Funding provided by Abu Dhabi Government / Abu Dhabi Education Council?
- Expatriate students might be accepted in the future.
- ECAE curriculum developed by the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
- ECAE not found in list of MOHESR CAA accredited institutions, but ECAE website FAQs say that they are hopeful that the accreditation will be awarded to the College in the near future.
- ECAE has moved from Muroor Street to new location in Umm Al Nar (date of move unknown - late 2009 or early 2010?).
- ECAE jobs and employment information and applications email careers@ecae.ac.ae.
- Some reports on internet forums of salary packages not as good as promised at interviews (Dave's ESL Cafe for example). Also negative comments about organisation, bureaucracy, management, etc. Might be related to the usual teething problems at a relatively new institute, or then again might be something actually worth taking note of.
- Housing and education allowances for teachers increased for 2008-2009 academic year?
- Was previously called Emirates College for Educational Development?
