- The Event Management Development Institute (EMDI) was established in India in 2001 (or 2002?), and in Dubai in 2004.
- EMDI has memberships with The Event Management Association of India (EMAI), and The Worlds Sport Institute (WSI)
- Emdi campuses in India in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune.
