- Press release from the Dubai KHDA said that The Elite English School (TEES) was accepting 20 special needs students from the Emirates English Speaking School, which closed its special needs section in March 2009.
- TEES said they had committed current resources to these 20 special needs students only for the next 3 years, making it sound unlikely they would accept any further SN students for the time being.
- Principal's name also seen written as Mrs Vatsala Mathai.
- Website had slow flash intro with no skip intro button, and page not found error when "Enter" button clicked.

- Full name is "The Elite English School".
- In March 2008, the KHDA said that EES would have land rent frozen by the Dubai government for 2008-2009 in exchange for not increasing tuition fees for 2008-2009.
- Tuition fees for 2007-2008 were AED 4,500-5,800 per year.
- TEES is unrelated to The Elite Private School in Abu Dhabi.

- The Elite English School made it into the Gulf News in a report that a class 1A student had been accidently poked in the eye while at school and needed an operation, but EES did not want to pay or accept liability.
