- Dubai Medical College for Girls (DMCG) fees information updated from DMCG website, assumed to be for 2009-10 academic year (although not obviously stated). Previous information was AED 70,000 per year (probably for 2007-8 or 2008-9 academic year.
- Hostel accommodation AED 10,000 per year, books cost approximately AED 2000.
- Transport fees AED 3000 for Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Al Ain, Fujairah, AED 2500 for Sharjah, AED 2000 for Dubai. Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Fujairah transport is weekly, other closer locations are daily.

- Dubai Medical College (DMC) announces that they've joined the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) which is a non-profit USA based organisation established in 2000 by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). ECFMG promotes excellence in medical and health education, FAIMER aims to improve world health through education.
- Dr. Fouzia Shersad, the Director of the Institutional Effectiveness Unit at DMC, was chosen for a two-year fellowship program offered by FAIMER and receives a grant from the GSMC-FAIMER Regional Institute in Mumbai, India.

- Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program for women only - full name is Dubai Medical College for Girls (DMCG).
- Priority given to Emirati females, then GCC nationals, then other nationalities.
- Haji Saeed Bin Ahmed Al Lootah is founder & chairman.
- Hostel accommodation available for 7,700-12,500 dhs per year. Bus fees of 2500-3500 dhs per year.
- Same organisation founded the Dubai Pharmacy College.
- Online forum on DMCG website (in English) is useful reading for students.
